Terms of Service

By adding Elara to your Discord server or using any of its features, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1 Acceptance of Terms
By inviting Elara ("the Bot") to your Discord server or interacting with the Bot in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Bot.
These terms apply to all users, server administrators, and anyone who interacts with Elara in any capacity.
2 Description of Service
Elara is a multipurpose Discord bot that provides the following features to Discord servers:
- Moderation tools (ban, kick, timeout, warn, purge, etc.)
- Security and antinuke protection
- Automod filters (anti-spam, anti-link, anti-caps, etc.)
- Music playback via Lavalink
- Giveaway management
- Ticket system with transcript support
- Welcome and leave message system
- Utility commands and a web dashboard
3 User Obligations
By using Elara, you agree to the following:
- You will not use the Bot to violate Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines
- You will not attempt to exploit, abuse, or intentionally cause disruption to the Bot or its services
- You will not use the Bot to harass, threaten, or harm other users
- You will not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the Bot's source code without explicit permission
- You will not use the Bot to distribute spam, malware, or harmful content
- Server administrators are responsible for how the Bot is configured and used in their servers
4 Prohibited Uses
The following uses of Elara are strictly prohibited:
- Using the Bot for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Bot's backend, dashboard, or database
- Using the Bot to conduct raids, mass DMs, or other disruptive activities
- Impersonating the Bot's developers or support staff
- Misusing owner or admin commands to abuse other users' servers
- Attempting to crash, overload, or DoS the Bot's infrastructure
5 Service Availability
We strive to keep Elara online and available at all times. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. The Bot may be temporarily unavailable due to:
- Scheduled maintenance or updates
- Unexpected technical issues or outages
- Discord API limitations or downtime
- Third-party service failures (Lavalink, MongoDB, etc.)
We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by service interruptions.
6 Premium Services
Elara offers optional premium tiers (Silver, Golden, Diamond) that unlock additional features. By purchasing or redeeming a premium subscription:
- Premium features are granted for the specified duration only
- Refunds are not provided for redeemed codes or expired subscriptions
- We reserve the right to modify, add, or remove premium features at any time
- Premium does not exempt you from these Terms of Service
7 Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or restrict access to Elara for any user or server that violates these Terms of Service, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.
Reasons for termination may include but are not limited to abuse, violations of Discord's Terms of Service, or any prohibited use described in Section 4.
8 Limitation of Liability
Elara and its developers are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Bot, including but not limited to:
- Loss of server data or configuration
- Unintended moderation actions
- Service downtime or interruptions
- Any actions taken by the Bot as a result of misconfiguration
9 Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Elara after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
We encourage users to review these terms periodically.
10 Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be handled through our support channels in good faith before any escalation.
